DCOM Security

Issue

Now days with the latest Windows OS, the security has increase the messurement. This is very difficult for engineer or user to setup the DCOM configuration.

Solutions

To avoid the DCOM security messurement, move the OPC server application and run at the client computer side where the OPC client is installed.

To communicate with the Niagara station simply change the OPC Server IP address properties target to Niagara station machine, by default is "127.0.0.1/localhost".

Please ensure the firewall is allowed the connection.
